Directions for use

Mixed/Broadcasted with Standard Soil

  • Small Increase in Organic Matter: Apply 0.5gallon/m²

  • Medium Increase in Organic Matter: Apply 1gallon/m²

  • Large Increase in Organic Matter: Apply 2gallon/m²

  • Pro Tip: Work biochar into soil with a rake.

Blended with Manure/Compost

  • Regular Maintenance Blend: Mix in 10%-20% to the total volume of Manure/Compost.

  • Major Soil Work Blend: Mix in 50% biochar to the total volume of Manure/Compost.

  • Pro Tip: Allow blends to cure with moisture or an inoculant before use.

Potting & Landscaping

  • Standard Mix-In Rate: 7% biochar to the total volume of growing media.

  • Pro Tip: Biochar can be primary media if pH & nutrients are balanced.

Return Policy

  • We offer a 30-day return policy. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you can return the product within 30 days of receiving it.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at jpettit@haliburtonforest.com with your order number and reason for return. Upon approval, we will provide you with a return shipping label.

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

  • You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
